Daisy Green Bra by Enamore

The ladies from Daisy Green Magazine are teaming up with Enamore, the eco-lingerie manufacturer to produce the Daisy Green Bra. Founder and emerging designer Jennifer Ambrose will launch this bra venture this month in the UK. The bra will focus on C and D bra cup sizes primarily for two reasons; first to widen Enamore’s product offerings and second C and D cup bras are the hardest to find in eco-lingerie. The bra will be made from organic fabrics and accented with hand-crocheted daisies from soft yellow bamboo wool. A donation from every daisy green bra sold will go to charities that encourage breastfeeding. Fabulous merge of ideas with a long reach; environmentally conscious, fills a void, charity forward and babies benefit! What’s not to love about this endeavor, this one has it all. The daisy green bra will be available for pre-order this fall @ The MarketPlace – The Place for Emerging Fashion. Spread the word.

The Terra Tee Project is the brainchild of emerging designer Jennifer Capaci, an Organic T-shirt company with a global mission. Four environmentally themed designs providing focus towards key areas we all share; Water, Earth, Life and Air. Jennifer is on a mission to bring worldwide recognition and funding to charities dedicated to improving the lives of others and the environment from cleaning up the air and water to protecting the animals and the earth. The Terra Earth Tee supports Forest Ethics, the Terra Air Tee supports the American Lung Association, the Terra Water Tee supports Reef Check and the Terra Life Tee supports the African Wildlife Foundation. Each 100% organic tee is tagged with the charity each purchase is supporting, so you know when you make your purchase which organization will receive the donation. The Project donates 15% of each tee-shirt purchase to the charity indicated on the tag. This is a project with global reach and common goals. The Terra Tee’s are eco-friendly and graphically themed with cap sleeves.

Vogue, Cameron Diaz and Eco Fashion
The green issue of Vogue Magazine, June 2009, has hit the newsstands and features Cameron Diaz tagged the ‘Queen of Green’. It’s a fabulous issue and photographer Mario Testino’s pictures are inspiring. Cameron mentions, tongue-in-check, in her interview with Robert Sullivan that she would do anything for Mario. Like a sultry Latin tango, the photographs capture that level of comfort and trust between Cameron and photo maestro.
Cameron is radiant in a high-end eco-chic silk halter dress by designer Phillip Lim and accented with a more affordable red recycled fire hose belt from emerging designer and social entrepreneur Kresse Wesling. The green issue also features white premium organic jeans by Del Forte, vegan sandals by Olsen Haus and a beautiful bikini by Stella McCartney. High-end designer Stella McCartney is a known vegetarian with an eco-friendly fashion brand.
The Prius-driving actress shies away from preaching and scolding green activism but feels more comfortable living green and demonstrating a green lifestyle through her daily choices. She uses offsets for carbon neutral travel; she recycles and is mindful of product choices that are environmentally sensitive.

This issue rushes in the long awaited summer with a focus on eco-fashion and earth friendly choices mixing high-end eco-designer fashion with more moderate emerging designer style. Tonne Goodman, Vogue’s fashion editor, creates balance between eco-friendly choices for everyone on this earth-friendly journey.
