A New York-based designer, Hiromi Nomoto, launched the brand Romih in autumn 2009. Hiromi, originally from Japan, earned her BFA degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. While studying at FIT, she won the Critic Award for Tailoring Design at the FIT Associate Collection and the Cotton Award for Knit Wear Design from Cotton Inc. She also earned the Certificate of Competency in Houte Couture Sewing from FIT. She worked at Calvin Klein & Ryann. Made in the USA.
