Noblivity Listens while Anna  talks about Anna Chitayat …”I never play it safe even though there is vast competition.”,  Anna Chitayat

Designer Background Summary:

I was born in Israel , raised in West Africa and educated in Geneva, Switzerland.  My life has been filled with travel and exploration, as I have visited and lived in over 10 different countries.
Observing many unique and beautiful cultures, I have continued to incorporate these different elements into my own sense of fashion.

Noblivity:  How did you get started?
Anna:  I am an artist at heart.  I always had the urge to create  and I knew it was just a matter of time before I would design my own fashion line.

Noblivity:  What inspires your designs?
Anna:  From the exotic jungles of Africa to the vibrant colors of the Mediterranean, I have always found ways to interpret these different elements into textures and fabrics.

Noblivity:  How would you describe your design style?
Anna:  My style is unique, flirtatious and exotic.

Noblivity:  What designers inspire you?
Anna:  Roberto Cavalli

Noblivity:  What obstacles did you have to overcome?
Anna:  There is always pressure to stick to traditional interpretation of fashion in order to conform .

Noblivity:  How did you overcome them?
Anna:  I never play it safe even though there is vast competition.  I know that if you stay true to yourself, you will always succeed.

Noblivity:  What has been your greatest moment on your journey so far?
Anna:  There have been many memorable moments but the most rewarding , by far, has been when I designed the first dress and watched  my creation come to life as my daughter modeled it.  Later that night she asked to wear it out, WOW what a compliment!

Noblivity:  Where are you headed personally and professionally?
Anna:  I will continue to evolve my style as I travel the world and discover new beauties in it.

Noblivity:  If money were no object what would you do right now?
Anna:  I will continue to design…..only it will be on  a yacht in the South of France!

Noblivity:  What are the best and worst things about being a designer?
Anna: I always strive for perfection which comes with a lot of stress.  In the end it is all rewarding, my designs always come out the way I envision them.

Noblivity:  Describe your typical day?
Anna:  I wake up early, grab a cup of coffee, tell my kids I love them, workout, tell my kids I love them again.  Then it is straight to work , and before bed time, guess what? I tell my kids I love them….Again!

Noblivity:  What’s your philosophy of life?
Anna: Optimism

Noblivity:  What’s your favorite meal time setting?
Anna:  Somewhere fun and different with my two kids

Noblivity:  If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently?
Anna: Not a thing!

Noblivity:  When will you know you have made it?
Anna:  I have already made it, and am continuing to make it.
